REAP 2026 Eligibility

Understanding the REAP Eligibility Criteria 2026 is the first step for any aspirant wishing to secure a seat in Rajasthan's engineering colleges. The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) strictly adheres to AICTE guidelines. Candidates must ensure they meet these standards before participating in the REAP Choice Filling Process.

1. B.E. / B.Tech Educational Qualification

For admission into the first year of Bachelor of Technology courses, the candidate must meet the following academic standards:

• Qualifying Examination: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) examination from a recognized board (RBSE/CBSE/ICSE or equivalent).
• Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory.
• Optional Subjects (Any one): Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.
• Minimum Percentage:
  • General Category: At least 45% marks aggregate in the above three subjects combined.
  • Reserved Category (SC/ST/Non-Creamy Layer OBC/Non-Creamy Layer MBC of Rajasthan): At least 40% marks aggregate.
• Diploma Holders: Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) are also eligible, subject to vacancies.

2. B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

Architecture aspirants must adhere to Council of Architecture (CoA) norms:

• Academic Requirement: Passed 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Aggregate Marks: Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 examination.
• Diploma Holders: 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• NATA Score: A valid NATA score is mandatory. REAP does not conduct a separate entrance exam for B.Arch; admissions are based on NATA/JEE Paper 2 scores.

The REAP Eligibility Criteria provides specific relaxations for candidates belonging to Rajasthan State domicile who fall under reserved categories.

Note: Candidates from states other than Rajasthan are considered under the General Category for eligibility purposes, regardless of their category in their home state.

REAP Age Limit 2026

One of the most common queries regarding the REAP 2026 Qualification is about the age limit.

• Lower Age Limit: Candidates should generally be at least 17 years old at the time of admission, though this varies by institute.
• Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for applying to REAP for B.E./B.Tech courses.

Domicile Criteria for State Quota

To claim seats under the Rajasthan State Quota (85% of total seats), candidates must fulfill the domicile criteria. This is crucial for the REAP Seat Allotment process.

• Category A: The candidate is a bona fide resident of Rajasthan.
• Category B: The candidate has studied in Rajasthan for at least 3 years during their schooling (including the qualifying exam).
• Category C: Wards of serving/retired employees of the Government of Rajasthan.

During the reporting phase, candidates must produce original documents to prove they meet the REAP Eligibility Criteria. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
