REAP Choice Filling 2026

The REAP 2026 Choice Filling is the most crucial phase of the admission process. During this stage, registered candidates must exercise their preference for institutes and branches online. Admissions are strictly based on the merit list and the priority of options submitted by the candidate. It is advisable to fill as many choices as possible to maximize the chances of securing a seat. Once locked, choices cannot be modified, so candidates must be extremely careful.

Follow these steps to successfully submit your option form:

• Step 1: Login - Visit the official REAP website and log in using your Form Number/Challan Number and Password.
• Step 2: Payment - Ensure the registration fee (and advance fee if applicable) is paid.
• Step 3: Select Options - Navigate to "Fill Option Form". You will see a list of colleges and branches. Click to add them to your list.
• Step 4: Arrange Priority - Move your selected options up or down. The system allocates the first available seat from top to bottom based on your rank.
• Step 5: Save & Lock - Save your progress frequently. Once finalized, click "Lock Choices". Note: Unlocked choices may be automatically locked on the last date, but it is safer to lock them manually.
• Step 6: Print - Take a printout of the locked option form for future reference.

• Fill Maximum Choices: There is no limit to the number of choices. Filling more choices increases your probability of getting a seat.
• Check TFWS Seats: If you are eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS), ensure you select TFWS seat options separately if they appear as distinct choices.
• Previous Year Cutoffs: Review last year's opening and closing ranks to gauge which colleges you are likely to get, but do not restrict your choices based solely on this.
• Password Security: Do not share your password. If someone else changes your choices, you will be responsible.
• Mock Exercise: Prepare a list of colleges on paper before sitting at the computer to avoid confusion during the live session.

After the choice filling deadline, the REAP authority processes the data. Seats are allotted based on your General Merit Rank, Category, and the Priority of Choices you submitted. You will need to login on the allotment date to check your result and download the allotment letter.
